Myrtle Beach Fishing Guide - Fishing Report

Little River Fishing

Little River is one of the oldest towns located along the Grand Strand area in South Carolina.  It's known for its delicious sea food and plentiful fishing.  Fishing has been a apart of this towns history for many years and continues to be successful.  Captain Mark Dickson offers the best Little River fishing trips in the area.  He has lived in the area his whole life and knows the water like the back of his hand.  He loves helping people and welcomes all ages and skill levels.

If you have a passion for fishing or just like to spend some time out on the water, a Little River fishing trip would be perfect for you.  His trips are very small and personal, usually only up to four people per trip.  He uses and provides his guests with the best equipment and tackle.  You can catch a variety of fish on these trips consisting of Blue Fish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and more.  Captain Dickson works hard to provide his guests with the most enjoyable and successful fishing trip possible.

Happy New Year!

This past week the weather was cold but there were several groups wanting to get out and try some of our areas great inshore fishing. We mainly have been focused on fishing for the Redfish in the shallow water creeks but there is plenty of other action to be had. The Black Drum have been thick around the Sunset Beach Bridge and can't refuse a shrimp tipped jig or a fresh chunk of Blue crab fished on a carolina rig. There continues to be a decent Trout bite out at the Little River Jetty's but more recently there has been a good bite near the Little River swing bridge. Billy Bay Halo shrimp are my favorite this time of year but any shrimp imitation should work, remember to fish very slow as the water is really cold. The Myrtle Beach Boat Show is this coming weekend, I will be conducting seminars throughout the weekend and hanging out in the Marine Service Center of Little River booth, stop by and say Hi and share a fishing story with me.There is still some fishing to be had so don't put your rods up yet. Catch you guys later.
